Case studies

Carl

I came to the NIS course after 17 years working for the Royal Mail.

After so long in one place, I just felt like I needed a new direction of work and new opportunities. I had a few personal things going on at the time, so my whole life took a complete turn.

Having a few friends in the rail industry helped me make the decision to train with NIS when my job coach suggested it.

In class we all work really well together, particularly during the practical lessons which makes the experience even more enjoyable.

I am really satisfied with all the qualifications, certificates and tickets that you can gain on this course. Even if the end goal doesn’t work out, you are still leaving with a bunch of extras on your CV that will make you more employable.

You don’t often hear about free programs which can open up doors for you like this. My advice for anyone thinking about signing up is: do it, go for it and work hard!
